1st Weekend in June Events

Over the weekend we attended the wedding of Chelsea & Keith. Chelsea has been Kaleigh's (Jeff's oldest daughter) best friend since 1st grade as well as Jeff has been in a band with Chelsea's Dad. The wedding style fit the couple perfect to their personality and it was simple and cute. I was also able to capture a photo of Jeff & Kaleigh together.

Offical Beginning Of Summer

Today marks exactly two weeks after Garrett's surgery. This photo was taken this past Saturday and as you can see he is doing great. He had a follow up appointment with Dr Jones-Monahan this afternoon and she cleared him to go swimming, ride his bike & do pretty much anything he feels like except ride his motorcycle.

Also the day this photo was taken the boys decided playing with boxes was still fun....just goes to show that boxes are fun at any age.


Sunday Garrett was a bit tired so they stayed inside. I snuck in this photo, each of them playing their own DS games......



School is officially out for everyone. Janie has all her classes signed up for and has her start date for college & Ridge is nearing testing for the ASVAB again.

I am hoping to continue to take more photos and post here as the summer goes on.

Eventful Week part 2 - Graduation

For a week that started out not so well we sure ended it on a happy note. Garrett was released from the hospital about an hour before graduation ceremonies were to begin. Though he stayed home with Grandma & Grandpa we were quite happy that he was there for the party.

Janie is excited about starting college and although currently she is leaning toward a career in pharmaceuticals she is still interested in nursing too. I'm sure it might change again at some point. She does know for sure she wants to be in the medical field.
